First you cut the tree down, turn it to approximate size, let it dry for a year, turn it again to finished size, incise the surface vertically and horizontally, then think about it for another year, take a class, learn some new techniques, then make them your own. This piece and the next are the result of the journey. I think they are unique and I’m happy with the results.
